 Google is working on a project to develop a computer driven car and has developed several prototypes. Automatic driving control system coupled with GPS and Google Map can help the passengers to travel from point A to B by giving command on screen. The prototype cars have so far logged nearly a million miles (16 Lacs Kilometers) in autonomous mode primarily in USA.This car is capped at 25 miles per hour (40 KM per Hour), recognizing all the moving and non-moving objects on road through various sensors and controlling the vehicle in a more effective manner compared to a human driver. It has option to allow the driver to take control of the car if the situation requires. In last ten year the google car has met with 11 accidents, but almost all were due to human errors. The car is becoming popular among city dwellers who need to drive daily in traffic congestion and narrow lanes. It is gradually passing all the safety and regulatory requirements for getting a node from authorities as a approved transport vehicle in USA and other countries. |

Principle of net neutrality — the idea that internet service providers give their customers equal
access to all lawful websites and services on the internet, without giving priority to any website over another. Due to intense lobbying by Telecom Operators in India, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is planning to allow them to block (or slow down) apps with an objective to provide them options to charge differently for internet content. This will enable extortion of more money from consumers and businesses as against the principle of net-neutrality. The net-neutrality is in news because this is considered to be dangerous start, wherein the internet service provider may charge premium price for what is popular/ essential, and at times can regulate/ stop access of the some websites in the commercial interest of competition (means allowing big fish to eat small fish). Particle Physics Research Centre located in Cern (Europe) has
world's largest, Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The LHC spread in a
27 km long tunnel, is also called the “Big Bang” LHC because it
may just be able to solve the mysteries of how the universe was
created. The planned experiments in the LHC hope to break out of the
Standard Model of how the creation of universe occurred at the
Elementary Physics Level and also to search of the dark matter which makes

Superfish, a preinstalled program was being shipped from September to December 2014 in all the Lenovo Laptops, which was intended to provide a better search results to the users. However it has been found in February 2015 that this program makes users vulnerable to a type of cyber attack known as SSL spoofing, in which remote attackers can read encrypted web traffic, redirect traffic from official websites to spoofs, and perform other attacks. This vulnerability enables hijackers to see everything from just collecting a little bit of marketing information to all the way to building a profile on you and spying on your banking connections. This vulnerability was "inadvertently" got introduced in the Superfish program developed by Israel-based Komodia. |

This is in a way similar to receiving the signal from the satellite. Balloon based internet has been popularized by the Google Inc. by launching a project named Loon. India is emerging as the most sought after destination as the number of internet users in the country would go up much beyond 300 million Internet users at present. The Loon project envisages launching high-altitude balloons to provide internet access to people without any traditional landline-based or satellite-based internet access. Such balloons that travel 20 km above the earth and remains steady depending upon the wind. The life span of these balloons can last up to 130 days in the stratosphere, and cost much less than the other methods of providing last mile connectivity. |

HoloLens brings high-definition holograms in to your world, where they integrate with your physical places, spaces, and things. Microsoft has launched HoloLens, which creates holograms to transform your digital content (a say a picture or a graph or a game you have been playing) into real, physical objects in the room, you can physically interact with. For instance, you would be able to actually play Minecraft as though the game existed in the real world and not just the digital world. Microsoft has recently showcased its first hardware around this (shown above), which is the HoloLens headset. Scientists at NASA, as said by Microsoft will use HoloLens to explore Mars using images captured by the Mars Curiosity Rover. They will work as if they can walk on the surface of Mars, an experience previously impossible. |
